CASE STUDY: JODI'S HOME
Jodi has more than 100 custom home builds and commercial renovations under her belt. But the project that held the most personal value—the one with the highest stakes—was the home she planned and dreamt of for more than a decade.
Inspiration from everywhere.
Jodi knew she wanted a farmhouse that reflected her family's midwestern roots. She drew design cues from her favorite projects, life experiences and travels, along with design magazines, Houzz and Pinterest. To highlight the stately grandeur of her Georgian and convey a luxe midwestern Farmhouse vibe, Jodi kept her palette white and neutral.
A maintenance lesson well learned.
After living through the maintenance demands of her previous home’s cedar siding for more than 20 years, Jodi was determined to invest in siding that didn’t require significant time and money every few years. With Celect, she discovered that she could have low-maintenance siding that came with a multitude of profile, color, trim and overall design options. Jodi has recommended Celect to several clients. “They love the colors it comes in,” she exclaims. “And they love that they have virtually no maintenance.”
From Admiration to Motivation
When Heather Killie and Richard Ingraham set out to design their dream home in Windham, New Hampshire, they wanted to be involved in every detail, from collaborating with the architect on the overall design to working with the builder to choose the best materials.
Interior designer Lisa Stretton was spending too much of her time and money repainting and repairing her home exterior. She also had enough of the woodpecker holes in her wood siding. She was ready for siding that looked and felt upscale, had lasting curb appeal and virtually eliminated her maintenance issues.
